It was beyond exciting to have The Balloon People win “Best of Parade” at this year’s Phoenix Pride Parade award ceremony held at the Penske Museum. Talk about coming full circ- le.. that same weekend last year I was in Chicago learning the skills on how to prepare for a parade .. and exactly one year later we earned our second award but the first “Best of Parade” award. The first award we won was for our first ever parade – The Veterans Day Parade – where we won Best New Entry!
